Do join me in overthinking how extraordinarily amazing it is to be able to send messages from your head down your arm to move a pen to form learned shapes that have sound and meaning to convey thoughts and feelings via ink on a page to a friend or loved one some place else. 😮✉️

Oh I do like this! This is the second time I've had post arrive at the pub for me, first time from Edinburgh, this time from SAN DIEGO CA! I do believe that Lemmy had all his post sent to his local as well, it's the way to go! Now let's see what's inside Joel Pedersen @xxyxxy.com

I’m gonna chance it. It’s only going inland but I wanted the young’un to experience a proper aerogramme, just the once. Anyone remember them first time round? 😁✈️✉️

It occurred to me while reading these two letters from Canada and Italy how the digital world makes me feel like a sightseer, a passerby, whereas a letter gives a real sense of the people and place, like getting beneath the surface of somewhere. We should hold on to that.
