#sensitivities
It's hard to take someone seriously and much less trust them to understand cultural sensitivities when one throws about such phrases callously

This one might be a bit niche, but if you're interested in the interplay between infrastructure and water systems there's a Sierra Club zoom on the 9th.

This seems to be a personal issue between them. It 'exploded from there. She needed ('special'/certain) attention and he did not accommodate. She said it was personal... . He said, '... I'm not concerned... ' . Their sensitivities are very far apart?

Totally fair. But I don't have food sensitivities* I chose this lol

(* I am, however, allergic to nickel, sheep's wool, cats, grass, and pollen)

Well they could with the right food sensitivities, unfortunately (though I can’t eat any of those and would kill to)

yeah I feel you. I've got sensitivities in spades and that's me at big events too

I'll admit to standing in the grocery store thinking about whether I was sad enough to cry.
I have so many food sensitivities (milk eggs corn soy cabbage banana avocado) i'm sick once a week. My food options keep shrinking, and I get so damn tired of losing one more thing that used to be safe.
I've been drinking peppermint mocha coffee creamer for about 9 years all year long. At first I had to horde it bc they stopped making it from spring to fall, and the. It was easy to get year round.
- Today I'm losing my flavor. They started making it with soybean oil, and soy makes me puke.

And that full body includes brain (moods, emotions, sensitivity) above and beyond the classic pain and light/sound sensitivities you might think of. I get far fewer these days thanks to Ajovy, which may have contributed to my delayed realisation today.

Time for painkillers!

Oh well I’m in Indiana (I’d mentioned it earlier in the thread) but yes it doesn’t matter bc it’s the same cultural pearl clutching we’ve had for decades in the US over the sensitivities of our children! Sob whine.

I believe in addressing issues directly and with clarity. I prefer to state my views as I see them, while remaining genuinely open to correction and dialogue. That said, here is my understanding of Zionism and the sensitivities surrounding it.

Indeed, I did. You then insisted that making membership “palatable” was very important. So the question stands: which of our rules and principles must Europe compromise to satisfy British political sensitivities? Do try answering it rather than quibbling over vocabulary.
November 2, 2026 at 6:01 AM
And, I'm curious, what exactly is it about our principles and membership obligations that you find so unpalatable that we must change them to accommodate you?

And why, precisely, should British political sensitivities take precedence over the rules governing the rest of us?
November 2, 2026 at 5:52 AM
Making rejoining politically easy for you may be your priority. It isn't ours. We have treaties, rules and an acquis to uphold. The euro, Schengen and free movement aren't bargaining chips to accommodate your political sensitivities. We're not obliged to make membership palatable to you.

1) hospo can be (ok dramatic) a life or death situation. give someone undercooked meat, expired food, an allergen, don't wash your hands correctly, etc. how many assholes out there "don't believe" in food allergies or sensitivities? making them work hospo just gives them access to potential victims.

She was bought out. They knew she had a price precisely because of her sensitivities.
THIS

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.
Democrats like Haley Stevens to undermine a fellow Democrat like Abdul El-Sayed reallt don’t grasp what’s at stake if Donald Trump and his criminal regime get two more unfettered years.

And equally 'curious' is that we ALL have to censor ourselves to not use the REAL LANGUAGE-instead saying "SA'd, graped or use emojis like 🍇"

Whose TF 'sensitivities' are we protecting? We're all living in Drumpf's dystopian version of 1984.

Terrified of the regime's nxt horrors to be inflicted!
It’s very weird society doesn’t want to call rape what it is.

“Non consensual sex” “sex with a minor” all terms watering down the word rape and definitions that aren’t accurate.

Aspirin helps many people.

For Kim Zangar, it revealed something important about her body's unique sensitivities.

A powerful reminder that health is never one-size-fits-all.
