The overblown talk about Alberta being full of separtists is to try & gaslight us Albertans into believing we're outnumbered & to keep us suspicious of/isolated from our neighbours.

On another note, I had a good laugh listening to Chantal Hébert explain the difference between the intellectual weight of the original Québec separtists & Alberta's, calling the loons in Alberta wanting to separate over trivial issues like paper straws "children playing with matches".

I cannot stand by while Canadian media try to whitewash Stephen f'ng Harper.
He's not verbally supporting separtists. OK. That doesn't make him a good person. And it certainly doesn't mean he deserves any respect.

Even in Rural Alberta the separtists are a small minority. Lets not promote harmful stereotypes that only exist to help the current and very unpopular leadership in the province.

It is telling that the reason for restricting political party names in Bill 14 was to avoid voter confusion but also in Bill 14, took away the restriction of 2 similar petition questions - apparently no voter confusion.🤔

The UCP has been working hard to break Alberta's public healthcare + public education *on purpose* in order to privatize each of them and is now scapegoating immigrants. And anything that helps the separtists is a UCP bonus. But many of us can see what Danielle Smith and her party are doing.
