LAGOS — Heirs Energies has acquired an additional 6 million shares in Seplat Energy Plc for £53.2 million, increasing its direct stake in the Nigerian independent energy company as Tony Elumelu deepens his exposure to the group. Seplat disclosed the transaction in a regulatory filing signed by Edith Onwuchekwa, its Director and Company Secretary. The shares were acquired at £8.87 each, representing about 1 percent of Seplat’s outstanding shares.
