a maybe useful way to think about this is that typically if you go to the hospital with sepsis you have kind of a lot of sepsis already, and it sounds like your mom got there with not very much sepsis

Sepsis added to the diagnosis list by the hospital because a sepsis alert triggered for an asthmatic on continuous albuterol

So I woke up this morning and was told that my mom is in the hospital with sepsis but it seems like she’ll be fine because Claude convinced her to go to the hospital in the middle of the night. She has “pretty mild” sepsis according to the doctor which I assume is like being a “little bit” pregnant

My heart is broken for their family and friends. Please vote for them and for the hundreds of thousands dead in Africa after the cancellation of USAID, for those killed by measles and other preventable diseases, for the women who died of sepsis because they were refused a therapeutic abortion. Vote
💯💔🙏✌🏽🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️💔
Let’s do this for so Many we lost 💙💙💙💙🕯️

Sad news today, our Octavia went over the rainbow bridge 🌈😪. Despite intensive vet care and treatment, her body just couldn't fight the sepsis, and she passed away early today. We were hoping for a miracle, but she came to us too late.
RIP Octavia, run free in rainbow heaven 🙏🏼

Diane Jones nearly died after being failed at every single stage: unanswered 111 calls, three 999 attempts without an ambulance, and hours waiting in an overwhelmed ED with a perforated colon and sepsis.

Same. She's 83 so I'm hoping she'll die of flu or sepsis or something
gods I hate this demon

Pregnant women dying of sepsis. Children in camps eating rotted food. Women beaten & murdered & kidnapped in public w/no consequences.

Yeah, economy is bad & corruption makes me coldly furious but I’m incensed about the treatment of children. Which includes their parents.

This one here is how I ended up breastfeeding a five week old baby in the home office three days after the Queen died while I was still bleeding and on antibiotics from childbirth sepsis. The word ‘automatic’ is making me bloody angry right now

The rule "you had to physically be in the UK on the exact day five years ago when you submit your application" is already so insane.

My uncle was one of my best friends. He died suddenly in 2021 from sepsis. It took him down in 24 hours. I miss him so fucking much and I’m going to paint a portrait of him. He was such a goofball.

Medical decisions need to dictated by the standard of care not Zealots‼️ Letting women die of Sepsis is BARBARIC 😈

Allie Phillips was denied an abortion when she was 19 weeks pregnant, despite the fetus having severe and fatal anomalies. Due to Tennessee’s ban, she had to crowdsource the money to travel to New York , where doctors discovered that the fetus had died in utero, putting her at a high risk for sepsis

omg free sepsis hack

What puzzles me is that they think of a 6 week fetus as having full personhood rights, but with that “logic” if they allow the mother to die of sepsis, etc., now we have two people dying!!!!! Make it make sense
