Ein Datenleck sorgt aktuell für Probleme bei zahlreichen Beherbergungsbetrieben. Hacker haben Buchungswebseiten der Tourismusverbände angegriffen und so Daten von Kundinnen und Kunden abgesaugt. In Tirol sind vier Tourismusverbände betroffen, weitere auch in der Steiermark und in Salzburg.

Serfaus (Tirol) is een gat van niks. 1200 Inwoners, maar ze hebben, tot onze verbazing, een moderne metro. De 4 stations liggen aan een 1,2 kilometer metrolijn. Reden: het onaanzienlijke dorp is autovrij. Slim; in de winter komen 1,2 miljoen toeristen. Dan wil je wel een peperdure metrolijn hebben.

Things had been planned a bit differently. I’d already decided beforehand that I’d skip the Arlberg and take the train. But today it was so cold in Serfaus and the Upper Inn Valley that cycling in summer kit would have been rather chilly. Final decision: the bus.

Tatsächlich war dies das erste Mal, dass ich hier in Serfaus überhaupt Kippen auf dem Boden gefunden habe.

Second part of the tour today. I set off from Innsbruck, heading for Serfaus. Things went quite well as far as Landeck, but as expected, the last 30 km proved difficult, and the final 10 km from Ried to Serfaus via Ladis were pure uphill hell.
