I used to camp alone in the mountains near LA. I know this drill. (details: https://www.dianeduane.com/outofambit/2021/09/20/star-trek-and-sespe/ ) That’s how I still manage stuff locally. Fire is *dangerous* & can get out of hand in unexpected and deadly ways. Not gonna let it do that on my watch.

Wierd that some of the tracks seem to start in the Sespe Wilderness.
That area is steep and deep, so unless they are tracking condors, it's a hard place to get to.
