#octoberhorrormoviechallenge Day 23: #jaws Director Steven Spielberg's breakthrough movie & it also has one of music composer John Williams's most iconic music scores. Behind the scenes the mechanical shark was named Bruce after Spielberg's lawyer & that's why it's the name of the shark in Finding Nemo. I know a guy who has read the book the movie is based on & according to him the book was mostly about the love triangle drama between the police chief, his wife & the marine biologist, the shark is barely the vocal point of the story. I'm really glad that they changed it in the script cause imagine the disappointment from the audience who expected to see a suspenseful, horror movie about a killer shark on the rampage & instead got a boring love triangle drama! It got 3 sequels - the 2nd movie had potential, but it wasn't as great or good as the 1st movie. The 3rd movie was nothing but a 3D gimmick that had a short comeback in the 80's & the 3D effects where pretty sloppy, even Friday the 13th part 3 has better looking 3D effects. The 4th movie is not only the worst movie in the franchise, but it's also one of the most ridiculous & dumbest movie of them all! Jaws: The Revenge is literally about the shark wanting revenge, you think it would be the opposite! 😂😜 It also got a bunch of Italian ripoffs & ripoffs about other killer sea creatures. #royscheider #robertshaw #richarddreyfuss #stevenspielberg #greatwhiteshark #killershark #policechief #marinebiologist #sharkhunter #eatenalive #corpse #underwater #noeyeball #severedhand #severedleg #youregonnaneedabiggerboat #smileyousonofabitch

Above is a drawing of Jax. Jax is a demon with long curved horns (they almost zigzag behind him) a scar across his face from below his eye all the way to his opposing forehead. He has long-ish flowing hair. He is holding his own severed leg in one arm. He is biting and pulling on the flesh of the severed side of the limb. Next to him is a speak bubble that says "Thanks for Lunch! (only cost me a leg!) This drawing was made for Goretober 2024, following the day one prompt of Cannibalism
