I keep seeing this “take #transit to Fleet Week” marketing. In 1999 it was #fleetweek and I had to get out of the ferry line at Pier 41 because the jet noise was unbearable. I think there should be “get out of town” marketing for Fleet Week. (Except for the ferries and bridge buses, I guess.) #sfba

This is a really good thread that gets at something I alluded to yesterday but didn't flesh out as Bedera does here: that you can ban fraternities, but if you don't take on rape culture, sports, clubs, informal social networks will do many of the same things as frats.
