Shadow Kirby got a slight redesign here with the blush cheeks being replaced by a star & heart but they're scattered, does this mean this redesign will come to Kirby as well? Let's wait and see. Also ya noticed that the Sword Copy Ability here is different than how it usually looks like with Shadow Kirby, that's because I'm not a fan of the Copy Abilities Hat being the same as normal Kirby's, so I decided to use the colors that ya would get if ya invert the colors, although the hat and sword itself still take some design elements from World Beyond. The next character also has the shadow title but it is my oc: Shadow Bandana Dee. The traitorous servant to the Shadow King of Nightmare Land, even though they have been on and off, the king isn't one to mess with and they threaten Shadow Bandana Dee if they don't obey orders, and so they reluctantly join their King to fight against Sword Shadow Kirby. Shadow Bandana Dee's design is back to my design for the Waddle Dee's face, just like with Bandana Waddle Dee. Last but not least is the King of Nightmare Land themselves, Shadow Dedede. I could've done a Triple Deluxe reference here but I don't want to reuse assets, so ya getting an original plot instead. Shadow Dedede hates Shadow Kirby to their core and even orders Shadow Bandana Dee to fight and they wait for Shadow Kirby to show their face so they can kill them. With Shadow Bandana Dee on their side and along with Shadow Dedede's own powers, there's no way they can lose. The background here is entirely original to fit with the Mirror World, and this is Castle Shadow, home of the servants to Shadow Dedede. And that's all for now! The next prompt will be the gathering of the souls, yes we'll see the soul bosses tomorrow. But until then, I hope y'all have a good one! and I'll see y'all next time.

Kirbtober Day 21: Reflection

Alright, no more cover ups, it’s time for yall to see the true face of Joronia. She was the princess of this land for quite some time, and was destined to become the queen of the skies. But there was one thing that got in her way, something that only kept on getting worse and worse. Her own appearance. Joronia was expressing her dislike of her own appearance and thinks she’s not beautiful enough. And the only person that she can express all of her emotions to was Taranza. When she woke up, she found Taranza smiling and there was a gift next to her wrapped in a usual gift wrapper and once she took it off, she gazed into the beautiful mirror and it reflects her appearance and for the first time, she felt happy to see herself and starts to pose next to it. Then again, then again, then again until her personality changed and eventually, her own appearance. Taranza was there for Joronia’s ups and her downs, and when she was at her lowest and expressed her negative feelings on herself, he decided to embark on a quest to look for a mirror up in the skies, it wasn’t an easy quest and he did ask for directions but he finally found it at last. The next day, he appeared in Joronia’s room and once she woke up, he decided to show off her gift and what ya know, she LOVED it! She was so happy that she visited the mirror over and over again, but he noticed the changes that she goes to when she looked into the mirror. And now all that Taranza sees when he looks at himself in the old mirror of Joronia’s was disdain of the world, but he would never expect things to get to the point of what needed to be done for everyone’s safety, which caused him his own love, and joy. Now that spider is living alone and depressed, not even his own friends can cheer him up but if he’s good at one thing, it’s using humor for his pain. Queen Sectonia has been ruling with an iron fist for quite sometime, mistreating everyone who dares upset her, neglecting the needs of the people, treating Taranza like a mere servant, and even planning to takeover her own kingdom, but The People of the Sky make their attempt at summoning their hero, which Queen Sectonia calls them The Hero of the Lower World and once she noticed the betrayal, she orders Taranza to take care of them and The Hero of the Lower World so they won’t ruin her rule. After sending Taranza to sick them, she returns to her once poor former room where she made quite a mess and redesigned the entire room. She begins to talk to the mirror almost like she sees her old self and taunts her. Ya may have noticed that Queen Sectonia has a massive redesign here compared to the last time that I drew her, from Almost Every Mainline Kirby Game Drawing on the wiki and last year’s Kirbtober, where she had a different color, and she was poorly drawn there. Now she still has the different color but now it’s different from the last time I drew her, the yellow is brighter and the wings are redesigned for hearts on each part. Her eyes are now different and she has a mouth, I’m not the first to add a mouth to Queen Sectonia & giving her normal eyes, credit goes to Spino for that, and some folks drew her with normal eyes. The background here is Queen Sectonia’s former room but it’s clear that she destroyed this place rather recently when she took on this form, as this room got redesigned when she was in her spider form, but since she’s now Queen Sectonia, she wanted nothing to do with her old self and “cleanse” a few things. I haven’t drawn Shadow Kirby in my drawings since the character bio, and Amazing Mirror related drawings. They’re still rocking the redesign that I give them but now with a different color eye. Shadow Kirby was minding their own business until two familiar folks appeared to beat them up and Shadow Kirby ran away, clearly not wanting to get killed by the toughest warriors in the galaxy. I decided to give Shadow Kirby a red eye to match with how people give them that in some fan-made models to match with normal Kirby’s eye color, and Kirby Fighters 2’s Shadow Kirby design. Speaking of characters that I haven’t drawn in a while after character bios is Their Shadowy Nemesis: Shadow Dedede. I don’t tend to draw Shadow Dedede often mainly because I don’t have ideas for them but since this is a reflection of His Royal Nemesis back in Dream Land, I figured now it’s the time to draw Shadow Dedede. They hate Shadow Kirby due to their existence and they teamed up with The Illusion Swordsman to shatter dat dar Shadow Sphere. Shadow Dedede’s design is matching up with King Dedede’s design from my drawings, which itself is based on World Beyond, and now they rock a normal hammer, other than that, the changes are small. Introducing my mirror world oc character: Bandana Shadow Dee. Unlike the others, Bandana Shadow Waddle Dee has no interest in killing off Shadow Kirby, instead, they will try to take out Shadow Dedede because they’re quite unloyal to the crown. They just wanted a better smokescreen to cover up their act of assassinating Shadow Dedede. The only change to Bandana Waddle Dee design is the face and the crimson shard. But I am considering reverting to my basic Waddle Dee face design since it’s rather difficult to draw with headwear like bandanas. The background here is a twisted and frick up version of Dream Land.
