Santa has once again sent an elf to stay at our center for the season, so that he can report back to the North Pole on life at an animal shelter and spread the message that dogs and cats around the world need loving homes.

Bubba was delighted to greet his old pal Gus!🎄🐾

Sneak preview, North Pole style! 🎅

Shelter elf Gus enjoyed a bath of his own alongside Sleigh, who will be available (as well as her siblings Frosty, Bows, and Elf) later this week. Who doesn’t love Christmas puppies? 🎄🐾

And so we say farewell once again to our shelter elf, Gus, as he will be heading back to the North Pole on Christmas Eve. We look forward to welcoming him back next year!

Bubba, of course, will miss his friend (and occasional nemesis) very much. 🎄
