これはファンシー絵みやげ。和製英語風の ”PERKY COMPANY.” は ”元気な仲間” くらいの意味だろうか。カジュアルな”じゃりんこ”3人組が可愛らしい。全長67cm。

・著作権表記の ”GLORY FAMILY” は中部地方を中心に観光物産、ファンシー雑貨を手がけていたメーカーのようだ。

Day 85 Shiga Kogen

Drive up to #Okushiga to ski with a friend, and for breakfast at the #GrandPhenix, where Japanese royalty stay when they’re skiing. The conditions in the morning were superb here and at #Yakebitai next door.

The #powder this morning was knee deep and extremely light. I met with a guide company owner and he told me that the snow depths are getting to deadly (literally) levels in the tree runs.

It’s way too warm for a normal ski season this morning but the first 90 minutes were still glorious. My buddy and I were literally the only two skiers at #Nishidateyama for the first four runs. #PrivateMountain

"SHIGA KOGEN", Nagano Prefecture.
Shiga Kogen Highlands is one of Japan's leading outdoor resort areas, visited by many people throughout the four seasons.
Length 63cm (24.8in). This pennant was produced around 1960s or 1970s. #vintage
1, Shiga Kogen Highlands pennant. This is a pennant of the ski resort. It is printed on blue cloth with a title and illustration, with two cream-colored ribbons to the left of the pennant. 2, Almost the entire pennant is marked "SHIGAKOGEN" in bold century, capital Roman letters. Two yellow ski boards are simply depicted behind the logo title. 3, The logo design is a dark pink century with only the letter "O" in yellow. The letters are randomly sized and rise and fall rhythmically, and the title is dynamic. 4, A small black silhouette of a skier is drawn on the right edge of the pennant.

Superb piste and side country conditions this morning due to the fresh #snow that fell overnight. The resort staff worked hard to groom the hills right before opening so conditions were ideal.

Really nice day overall…the snow was amazing, met some really nice people, in line and on the lifts, and I got in the first track at #Yakebitai’s No.2 gondola. This has been one of my best seasons so far.
