But a lot of people wanted to center shipwars instead bc it was a really convenient way to get some fandom clout AND avoid death threats from the fandom menace chodes and not do the scary thing to actually address the Nazis sitting comfortably in the bar.

If this is about the tadc va debacle then I think it’s perfectly reasonable for Black fans of the show to want to see SOME form of accountability. You cannot equate casual racism to the regular shipwars or misunderstandings of animation distribution.
I wish all independent creators artists and actors a very "please have a supportive fandom that isn't trying to tear you to shreds every other month"
