if microsoft was at all savvy at this point, they would re-release windows 10 with guaranteed stable security updates for ~10 years as a Win10Home-like "Windows Lite" or some such for max $49 - no subscription, nothing else, just stable windows 10 with none of the shit. leave that for the enterprise
