NHS prosthetics hold athletes back - I also had this problem when I was a wheelchair user as my NHS wheelchair wasn’t useful for much apart from moving me between the car and the Shopmobility place. It’s all aimed at elderly people.

In my city we have shopmobility, if want to access those areas I can “hire” a mobility scooter and do so. Being disabled is tough but even with a car I couldn’t browse most of those shops on Charring Cross Road.
