If your ex-wife didn’t buy you a Bertie Beetle showbag while she was at the show you are probably a bad person…

went to the Royal Adelaide Show today, and this was my haul!!! 🎡🐄

I bought a showbag that was legit just full of milk. 🥛

And yes, I bought 3 (three) Sexy Firemen calendars.

GoodThursdayNightAll
No swimming tomorrow - being taken to Royal Melbourne Show by family - am as excited as an overwound clock. Love the animals and produce and woodchopping and cake decorating and yes... of course I'll buy a Showbag full of things hopelessly unsuitable. Yay! 🤣

Given that I was picked up at 8:30am and have just now been dropped home from my day with family at the Royal Melbourne Show... I'm appropriately bezausted!🤣Had a fabulous time, did AllTheThings...and yes OK I succumbed to a ShowBag but only ONE! So grateful - love my family! ❤️

It’ll be interesting to see how the Coalition chooses to interpret this kick in the arse.

Some might say ‘fellas, what if we actually developed sensible policy’.

But I reckon they’ll just pop open a huge plastic showbag labeled “Culture War (Made in the USA)”.

And a showbag of S Kidman merch.

Gunner: he's always about to do something
Showbag: looks impressive but is full of shit
Remember an old book containing Dave Davies' writings in the CPA's Tribune and he had a whole section on steward nicknames:

The Judge: always sitting on a case.

The Mirror: "I'll look into it."

The Vomiting VO: "I'll bring it up on the executive"

Ahhh it's Easter Show Showbag Crap time again...

No. You're not getting $257 worth of stuff for $36.

You're getting $15 worth of stuff for $36.

If anything, Showbags should remind you of the gouging mark-up on every product out there.

Green grapes would make an excellent setbreak snack if not for the large chance to get smushed in showbag

June 13, 2025 at 10:03 AM
one of my key rings for my cross stitch floss bags

I got it from a showbag; for some reason the Garfield theme was balloon Garfield & cube Odie!

I got a showbag full of unidentified Japanese snacks. Saw some horses. Ate two Dagwood Dogs at different stages of the day. Easter show good

there is something very reassuring about the gag magic showbag still being available at the sydney easter show. i think perhaps that showbag will survive the heat death of the universe

'Dutton's showbag of sugar hits' is your headline, fellas.

Infinite gratitude to the friend who brought me back a Bertie Beetle showbag from the Canberra Show. (For the uninitiated, the show is like the state fair, and a showbag is an integral part of the experience, containing stuff related to the theme of the bag.)

Join me as I vaguepost the final batch of 20 #TeamAmanda @notquitewrite.com stories, sight unseen. It's like a lucky dip of literature, a showbag of storytelling, a fortune-cookie of flash fiction and apparently an avalanche of alliteration...

last time humans walked on the moon the calculations for the mission were done on a calculator built into a ruler you get in the Bertie Beetle showbag at the 1993 Ekka.

Now our technology is exponentially more advanced so we're going back to the moon to wander about for ~reasons~
