In Bashkir (think Kazakhstan) mythology, Shurale is a forest spirit who kills people by TICKLING THEM TO DEATH. How spectacular is that? "Tickling Shurale" is a song inspired by the idea of giving Shurale a taste of his own medicine. #shurale #kazakhstan #bashk #kazakh #kazakhmusic

Shurale? Or something else? 😂

The Shurale is a forest spirit or monster in Tatar and Bashkir mythology known for its woolly, satyr-like body, single horn, long fingers, and fatal tickling ability. It is a malevolent being that resides in forests, luring unsuspecting victims into the wilderness to tickle them to death.
