rereading shuukura has me realising sendai is totally a katecore character, she gets to join kasuga tsukutabe in that special spot in my mind that makes me cry sometimes

Started my second read-through of #shuukura, almost done with volume 1. It's amazing how different their relationship is to the later volumes, really shows just how much they slowly change over time. Like, Sendai used to *not* be constantly freaky with Miyagi?

I read way slower in Japanese and end up reading way less.... though maybe that's a good thing when I'm so busy right now orz

Okay so my top has definitely changed. Goodbye Lara is now almost bottom tier after that ending tbh. And now AdaShima is replaced with Shuukura. I don't have a concrete list but just know Shuukura is just that good that it's topped AdaShima.

Literally cannot remember the last time I read a Yuri - especially like a Yuri Hime Yuri, not an adjacent type of thing - I would ever describe primarily in terms of purity. Watayuri? Otherside Picnic? ShuuKura? Tai Ari? KimiShinu? No no no on all counts. Not even, like, fuckin’ Sasakoi!
