The Plot opens with synths + harpsichord. BLH gets first verse, which isn't usually the case. Then we have a verse from Zagg, a female MC who has two albums from the '00s on his label Siccmade Muzicc. Makes a change from usual, looking up a female MC and finding they had one album, ten years later.

Back in cheerful territory with Naytionz Capitol by Fig Naytion. Another 'Brotha Lynch Hung presents' release from Siccmade, this one opens with a spicy verse from him 🧟🔪

Then our lead artist comes in, and turns out to have a really theatrical cadence, like a Hanna-Barbera bit character. Fun start!

Okay, one very important thing I missed is that—while he has verses abt owning his label Siccmade Muzicc (who have plenty of original output around the time), and dissing Black Market who he was estranged from by then—Black Market Records were actually still releasing his albums, including this one.

The generally evil record label Black Market Records don't have any album releases aside from Mr. Doctor's Doc Holiday for 2001, if Discogs is accurate. Siccmade have a small number. Ought to look up Psychopathic. Which other labels might warrant the deep dive? I want to diversify the pool somewhat.
