#side-core-platform
White leftists are contrarian and dont really have any core belief other than “not that.” You are never going to persuade them to your side because their whole platform is to be opposed.

Good morning! I’m thrilled to kick off the day with Forexleey’s core forecasting platform—three side‑by‑side widgets letting you watch EUR/USD, Gold, Oil and more in real time. Our proprietary ML engine projects short‑term price paths across 1m to 1D charts, while the Diagnostic Fit Score shows you

I will say this as a frequent rider of the ancient cut-and-cover lines in the Manhattan core: they get -10 points for making you think about which side of the street to enter on, but +1000 points for “walk down the steps and there’s the platform!”
Unpopular opinion: I think we should go back to build subsurface metros whenever feasible. With 10% of what we save in civils compared to a deep tunnel, we can put in fancy architecture

Not supporting them because they deviate from your core values ain’t the same as whining that they’re not perfect.

Doesn’t it give you pause that so many consider these more than just planks in a platform? How they handle this issue is indicative of how they’ll side on any number of similar ones.

We’ve published a new article on our @pckt.blog :

How we built Bluvy Tube, the dark side of porn on Bluesky, and the challenges of building a safe, public video platform with effective filtering.

How We Built Bluvy Tube - Bluvy Core
When we started working on Bluvy Tube, one of the first questions we had to answer was surprisingly simple: what does a video platform actually need to own? The...

It's also worth pointing out that Meitetsu Nagoya is physically laid out in a manner that limits dwell times--deboarding onto a center platform, boarding from side platforms--that Blackfriars e.g. isn't

Still, Meitetsu is functionally a capacitymaxxed two-track mixed-traffic core
Ambitious I know, but these guys manage 27 tph in a two track core, with 1000+ level crossing, and a bunch of single track branch lines, oh and pre-1990 signalling tech.

Everything we’ve been building this year has been with Android in mind, and we’re getting closer, component by component, to making our core app logic fully cross platform. A peek at how it's going:

i wish i can doxx this vendor because they announced a new part of their platform that is not even REMOTELY connected to their core product

literally a random side quest that makes no sense for their product
got out of a meeting with them and jfc "we ship so many new features we actually can't create a changelog or notify of you for all of them. we're so dedicated to support you via our product, we're just trying to find new things to help your team"
received a fourth one since they tested in our environment again! 🙂

Never before have you felt this way
open to the deepest ways of being used

Worn down from cravings clawing
amplified as your discarded core wants to return
letting your fears fall away
learning that fun can be such a release
seeing your freedom be edged away in delight

As far as I know for Weights & Biases only the client libraries are open-source. The core platform, including its web application and server-side components, are proprietary. For MLflow, everything is open source.

Finished Ori and the Will of the Wisps yesterday. Such a beautiful beautiful game. Everything from visual, soundtrack, and story made me fell in love with it again on top of a satisfying gameplay.

This sequel leans more heavily into the action aspect and makes it feel more like Hollow Knight. /1
