It is so painful to migrate Sidekiq’s CSS from Bootstrap 3 to Bootstrap 5 that I might just reimplement the whole dang UI from scratch. It’s only a dozen pages. Any UI guru want to pair on it next week? github.com/sidekiq/side...
Doing some benchmarking this morning now that Rails 8 is out and SolidQueue is past 1.0.
Queue 500,000 Active Jobs in SolidQueue/sqlite: 63 seconds (production, log level :warn)
Queue 500,000 Sidekiq::Jobs in Sidekiq: 3.3 seconds
That's only client-side, benchmarking execution is much harder.
