#movieandtvchallenge A Silent Movie: #thecabinetofdrcaligari May not be much for audience of today, but it still has a great story & two great leading actors, Conrad Veidt & Werner Krauss, that gets your attention. It also has one of the best movie twists 😉 It's one of the best silent movies. Many attempts of making a remake and a sequel has been in development hell since the 30's, but I have noticed that there is a 1989 artsy, quasi-sequel called Dr. Caligari, which is about the granddaughter to the original character, but it's so far away from the original movie that it might as well could have been its own movie instead. Rob Zombie made a tribute to this movie with the music video Living Dead Girl. #silentmovie #germanexpressionism #sideshowattraction #drcaligari #wernerkrauss #cesarethesleepwalker #conradveidt #somnambulist #lildagover #movieandtvchallenge A Silent Movie: #thecabinetofdrcaligari May not be much for audience of today, but it still has a great story & two great leading actors, Conrad Veidt & Werner Krauss, that gets your attention.
