At least it's not the sidewall! Tread punctures are (almost always) repairable; sidewall punctures mean you've gotta replace the tire.

I’ve had a small nail stuck my sidewall for 5-6 months that slowly leaks air but instead of paying for a new tire I just keep a portable air compressor in the backseat

The worst effect I’ve had possibly related to the pick ups is that they’re so strong that my rim failed - I don’t think the Velocity Dually was intended for a tire this stout.

Low tires can eat up 10% of your mileage. Fill them when cold before driving for the most accurate fill. Only fill to max on sidewall, if numbers on sidewall worn off, you need new tires.
You should be able to see light through your air filter, replace if not.

Finally got around to properly assessing my bike tire. At first I thought there wasn't anything wrong, but there's 5 small holes in the main tyre and 3 in the sidewall. I'll stick a tube in it tomorrow I guess
