These trees are so big it is simply overwhelming. #Sequoias are some of the largest trees on earth and these trees from #KingsCanyonandSequoiaNationalPark in the #sierranevadas are some of the largest. They are simply awe inspiring. This is why this #nationalparkgeek goes to #nationalparks!

Do you prefer the Valley View or the Tunnel View in #yosemitenationalpark? Both feature views of the #yosemitevalley with the well known landmarks. Either view makes a trip to the #sierranevadas and #california a must do.

#KingsCanyon and #sequoia #nationalparks are simply amazing. The sequoias only grow in select areas of the #sierranevadas. But nestled into the ground cover arond these magnificent #trees are quiet streams and small oasis that simply sooth the soul.

Everyone always talks about the #waterfalls at #yosemitenationalpark, and for good reason: they are incredible. The rivers really race icreating some spectacular #rapids. With the snowpack from the #sierranevadas melting, the water can move very quickly. One of my favorite spots in #california.
