Now that I've returned from Portland Retro Game Expo, I can finally show this off!
I got to meet Robert Belgrade (Alucard, Signas, O.D.) and Michael Guinn (Dracula, Harry Mason, Ridge Racer announcer), and asked them to sign this lovely canvas print for me!
They were absolutely wonderful!

I'm very fan of the bosses having interesting moral conflicts with X and the dialogues with Signas and etc being a discussion about that, there's some theme going on in it and i love when fangame puts some extra effort in the writing and lore regard!
Big recommend taking a look in this fangame ^^

So...
Selecting 5 Cyber Signas, playing 2 Rank 1s or 1 stronger Rank 2 or 3, playing Immediates for offense at the risk of Ultimatums, playing less Immediates so Ultimatums can be
played more for defense, and trying to lose the least amount of resources are some decisions.

All cards (Cyber Signas) are visible when played. Common strong abilities, such as blatant Cyber Signa removal, are exclusive to Ultimatums. Only Ultimatums can be removed by some non-Ultimatums, but only after it activates, and only on turns after activation (hence the name, "Ultimatum").

Genuine head tilt.
It was an iconic set, yet it didn't really register initially.
X looked at the first pair a split second longer before it clicked.
"Do you think Commander Signas would truly believe that, and demote our positions within the organization?"
Genuine concern and fluttering.

"I'll make sure I also give my voice of disapproval to Signas about this rookie hunter.💢"
No doubt having both X, and Zero reprimanding that behavior all but sealed the end of that short lived run.
Last thing they needed was another Vile on the hunters again.

A rare unreadable expression on his face.
Both enjoying bringing up the moment, but also doing his best to smooth things over as a favor for Signas.

Ever familiar hum of the futuristic motorcycle’s engine zooming with the throttles revved. Hanger door to the current garage already opened courtesy of Commander Signas.
The chat was brief and formal as it tended to be. Unlike them, it never seemed like Signas got much of a break.

Zero responded with a warm but subtle smile, bumping X’s forearm with his own.
“That’s the idea. They’ll come in handy when the situation calls for them.”
He began walking, motioning for the other Hunter to follow.

He knew Zero meant it when he said no arguments. He wouldn't budge, and that was final.
So he graciously accepted the offer, not wishing to fret over such things.
Features still full of joy, he reached forward to give Zero a bump with his forearm.

Eventually, they crossed paths with Commander Signas, who greeted them both before turning to Zero and thanking him for revising his reports.
“No problem,” Zero replied.
Though Zero gave no indication of it, Signas knew he wasn’t particularly fond of having to revise his reports.

Even so, Signas couldn’t exactly allow him to keep slacking off on something that was part of his duties. With a small nod, the commander went on his way.
Once Zero reached the elevator, he took it down to the basement level with X, where the garage and their Ride Chasers were located.
