Porque, con franqueza, la exactitud hacia El Silmallirion me es más bien indiferente. Peter Jackson cambió lo que quiso de los libros en sus pelis, y me cago en el ojo de Sauron si en la mayoría de los casos no fue para mejor.

You might find it interesting that there has already been a book comparing Tolkien translations! (Apparently, Russian is said to hold a record, with 9 for LOTR, and about half of that for The Hobbit or The Silmallirion - in large part because the earliest were samizdat.)

This had a section on what it called the "Christian" hope - doing the right thing (I.e. destroying the Ring) and hoping it works, vs. the Norse hopelessness - doing the right thing because it's your duty regardless of outcome. (LOTR includes both; Russian translations tend to emphasize the latter.)

Cronologicamente tu começaria pelo Silmallirion, depois o Hobbit e por fim o Senhor dos Anéis. Só que essa não é a ordem recomendada pois o Silma é o tipo de livro que só costuma ser interessante para quem já conhece a Terra Média. A ordem padrão costuma ser o Hobbit, o LOTR e, só então, o Silma
