really really really sad that blizzard basically made the horde-only part of Silvermoon obsolete as fuck when the music and aesthetic is the best part of the new city :(

Culturally, Skyborn elves are unkind to outsiders, but are otherwise community-minded. They often adorn themselves with feathers, swirling blue and white tattoos and body paint and garb that would stand out in Silvermoon
In many ways, they're the perfect middlepoint between Kal'dorei and Quel'dorei

The Skyborne took this opportunity to join the Alliance proper alongside their Wildhammer allies, using the "betrayal" of their kin as leverage to get influence.
They used this to put further pressure on the High Elves – Thalassians who refused to follow Silvermoon – in exchange for their support.

How ironic that the man that refused the high elves driven out from Silvermoon by the Scourge would end up working with the Blood Elves. (Eventually, when Silvermoon joins the Horde)

But, Quel'Danil was a marvel that the High Elves would not turn away from. Even as Quel'Thalas, Silvermoon, and the Sunwell were being built, the first settlers made their way to Quel'Danil to explore the floating islands for themselves.
They discovered a land of danger and wonder in equal measure.

Didn't realize I had the item for the silvermoon camp screen, I got the void variant but assumed I was missing pieces for the other and was wondering why the weekly quests were giving me more. Nope just a one and done.
I am still hoping they give us more, it's a really nice feature

Honestly, it's not even really Silvermoon to me. Don't get me wrong, it's nice. But I'd believe it was a Sin'dorei city somewhere else before Silvermoon.
The music might just be the biggest factor in that. If you compare modern and classic SMC music, I'd think it's from a different MMO altogether.

I love the new Silvermoon but as a lifelong fan of the Sin’Dorei, I can never forgive how Blizzard fumbled the Blood Elves during their own expansion. This is a “butt-fumble” quality fumble. 😭💔💀

I'm not even a MN hater and even I find the main Silvermoon music to be crap
They should've just made the music that plays in the Horde district that nobody goes to, just play across the whole ass city imp

I don't know why they just couldn't remaster the original song for the entire city. It is Silvermoon, after all. There was never an Alliance section before. And even while they are on their temporary stay, they deserve to experience the glory of Silvermoon proper, along with its original music!

Murder Row music is more blood elf music than the actual 'new' silvermoon music. Starting to feel like i zoned into Disneyland when i hearth back to Silvermoon.

Love having this backdrop for WoW.
Trust me Blood Elves, I wouldn't mind leaving Silvermoon as Alliance if we could have another neutral place to gather, but being constantly rude? Maybe we should've left this..

silvermoon city has been ravaged by the scourge. they tore through the city walls and left a dead scar in their wake. walking across that land now, i still hear the spirits of the dead... it sounds like honking tubas and trumpets for some reason. one of them is saying "ahhh i can't feel my legs".

i love that kids just say the most out of pocket things known to man with such ease like
phaenon hanging out in silvermoon and a blood elven child walks up to him and tugs on his robe like "why are you the devil"
