I started the shop ten years ago and started making jewelry with Becky, then enrolled in silversmithing school and went through beginner and intermediate courses. When my schedule gets kinder I'll take the expert and wax casting classes.

Being a traditionally trained silversmith did not prepare me for the whole internet using #silversmithing for "goldsmithing, but with silver".
But I get it, it is confusing. Perhaps an american thing.

I just left silversmithing with another sort of failed and somewhat clumsy… thing, but it’s fun to do stuff again even if I’m not super fond of my own aesthetic.

I guess it’s a little more expensive to quietly throw out failed silversmithing projects than failed pottery attempts (I have quietly disposed of many…) 😞

I have vehicle, so that I can get to silversmithing workshop open hours. So that i can find out when intro course next runs / if I have to take it.
Naturally, my weekly injection has decided to swell a bump beside it and start itching within 5 minutes. (Usually it's 20-60 min when my body reacts)
