To anyone out there looking to thread a #Vintage Singer 99... ignore AI and trust someone who actually sews with a #Singer99. The needle goes in FLAT TO RIGHT!! Putting it in flat to back will lead to thread jams, knotty noodles, and a lot of frustration.
