I wrote a HITL/SITL simulator that embeds betaflight, hdzero, and edgetx.
edgetx -> betaflight -> fly brain <- vision: gaussian splats -> hdzero
This lets the fly see and pilot within a simulation driven and a human pilot can optionally operate the fly in-the-loop via a trainer radio.

the GPUs from me-south-1 were secretly moved to a hardened facility that is running the insurgency fork of hy2foam with ardupilot SITL
the sim has been running continuously since they got the hardware set up. it has no checkpoints and the subprocess timeout feature is broken on the harness
