Half past 4am, the usual moment when you're about to join the third skein for the sweater and you distinctly remember there being 3 skeins for the back, but it looks like you only need 2 and somehow it's both 10cm too short and too narrow...

Half past 4am, the usual moment when you're about to join the third skein for the sweater and you distinctly remember there being 3 skeins for the back, but it looks like you only need 2 and somehow it's both 10cm too short and too narrow...

Yarn haul! Also I gotta go to another Michael's for bamboo needles in the size I need cuz I don't know yet if the metal ones will fuck me up, but we'll see (I got them anyway cuz I wanna try having 2 projects at once)

I, too,am allergic to wool! If you’re going to knit, you learn to work around it. Those fancy pants hand dyed skeins are soo pretty, though. Every once in awhile I’ll see one I can’t resist and buy it, try to use it, have regrets, and then pass it in to a friend. 😂

Only sometimes! Most of my yarn is in plastic bins. These are the skeins I am keeping close for now. ❣️

I haven't thought of "skeins" since my grandma's place. She made me 2 afghans. I thought of crocheting but I ended up doing latch-hooking instead. I haven't done that in *ages*.

Caron has been up and down for me. I really like the blossom cakes and blossom cupcakes. Soft, no splitting. I tried a different kind and it was so stiff and awful I had to return the other skeins!
