I should stop opening random sketchpads or files so I won’t see my unfinished drafts 😂

I am thankful on this day that sketchpads don't have the ability to flip the canvas :'0

Just bought some sketchpads that, should I stick to it, will see me to the end of the year of daily robot drawings.

800 drawings. No GenAI. No bloody “prompts”. No “compute” used.

Resketch makes notebooks and sketchpads of unused architectural diagrams, maps, logs, sheet music, and more. ♻️

Might need to invest in a scanner at some point.

I've been drawing a lot of stuff in my sketchpads for my personal work.
Alot of it is SFW non furry stuff or silly lil doodles. But i think i'm gonna start scanning it in and posting it if i can.

Inside every Monk is Shonen Action Series.

If you give a thousand monks a thousand years with a thousand sketchpads they would eventually produce every scene of Hunter X Hunter.

Look I'm just trying to draw on my 6 different sketchpads at once over here and my neurodivergence read this and began howling like a gravely insulted and very small canine

At some point i should start scanning my sketches, i've filled a few sketchpads so far this year and theres some good ones in there.

ANYWAY I just discovered a stash of fifteen more sketchpads which Past Me must have bought and hidden so I’d forget about them. Which I did. Fifteen! Looks like I’m working till the grave then 😎

Sorry, I did not articulate that well at all lol, I was just looking at how fast I keep filling up sketchpads. It's absolutely great but also kind of unnerving how the urge to make art has just taken me over

My creative energy flooded back this week after a multi-year drought. I dusted off my Copics, sketchpads today. It feels… correct.

I never identified as “unwell”. Maybe “off” & “frazzled”

But today, it’s obvious I’ve emerged on the other side of SOMETHING that I still have no words for.

I enthusiastically started pulling sheets out of sketchpads to scan and now I'm up to 41 pages.

...

I have regrets and I need coffee.

I organized all of my art supplies and sketchpads and patterns today to set up my space in the new apartment!

I think I might have too many sharpies 😅. But I’m going to actually get back into drawing with them, so it’s not too many if I actually use them.

I also need to crochet again 😬.

i want to try sketching again so naturally i have overwhelmed myself looking at sketchpads

I'm legit spending the next few weeks drawing character sheets on sketchpads and so I can playtest space wizard game at Gen Con. The rules are basically incomprehensible without me around, but it'll have the important bits.

Let your game be a little scuffed for a while!
there's a really important playtesting phase that a lot of ttrpg designers are scared to wallow in, which is the "this game is 100% unplayable without the designer present" phase

Two sketchbooks full of graphite portraits I had drawn. Would have been nice to have in a portfolio or look back at. At the time, those paper sketchpads were my only way of showing people my talent so I could earn a little money.

"But babe that's my stack of emotional support notebooks and sketchpads I never use"

Artists have always loved to sketch!

Sketch of a sparrow from Egypt dated c. 1479–1458 BC.

Some 3,500 years ago in Egypt, artists used small flakes of limestone as sketchpads!
