Something I should clarify is I'm NOT saying Trails in the Sky the 3rd is skippable. If you get hooked and want to continue, you should absolutely play it! But if you're unsure about committing long term, just play SkyFC and SC (originals or remakes) to start.
Are you interested in the Trails series, but are unsure of committing to 13 games (and counting)?
Trails in the Sky FC and SC tell a whole, satisfying story. You could walk away happy after SC, even if you never play another Trails game.

Yeah, something I want to make clear is I am NOT saying Sky 3rd is skippable. I'm just saying, if one wants to test out Trails with the smallest commitment, SkyFC + SkySC (originals or remakes) is a good starting point.
