Genuinely fascinating that people will sincerely believe this as a sort of enlightened centrism between secessionists and unionists. Surely there couldn't be an inefficient but stable equilibrium entrenched the slavocracy.

Civil Rights won because there was a path to victory in Congress and a sympathetic SCOTUS. What we're fighting now is The Slavocracy.
