The past 2 months I finished Mario RPG remake, SMB1, SM3D World, SM Wonder, played a fair bit of MK World, Switch Sports, NMBU, + a little bit of Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy and Mario Tennis Fever.

I have realized that I greatly prefer open area 3D platformers (SM64, Banjo-Kazooie) over linear 3D platformers (SM3D World).
I think "run in any direction and see what you find" is a big part of the experience for me.

You get SMS in widescreen and fixed up cutscene, an exclusive SMS Soundtrack not physical on it's own with cutscene music, Shindo SM64 in the west, Platnium SMG Soundtrack with SM64, you own them not NSO etc

Your explanation on why SMB3 is low is understandable, but imo it did give us the best powerup ever with the Tanuki tail and suit.
I'm curious as to why SM3D Land is so low compared to SM3D World. Is it just the Cat Suit power up?

I already ahve SM Sunshine on both my GCN and SM3D All-Stars and also have Super Mario Eclipse so fuck this app baby! But with that said freaking finally they released this game so newcomers that didn;t get SM3D All-Stars and have a NS2 can try this out! it really is SMS Month after all!

I like how the Smash Bros Wii U adapter continues to be supported. Works on the Gamecube NSO app on Switch 2 perfectly. Likewise the SM3D All Star's port of Super Mario Sunshine and Trials Rising.

Yeah Super Mario Sunshine is my least favorite 3D Mario game too, even I vastly prefer SM3D Land since it's level design impresses me, even Peach was better written in that game over her dumbness in SM Sunshine. SM Sunshine really needs a remake but Nintendo has shown regret for it.
