I had no tiny SMD electrolytic caps on hand so I had to use all my PLCC caps instead. It’s not optimal, but it should at least make the machine work better than dead & leaked OG caps🫠

Inspecting the underside, I managed to find our missing capacitor's location, right next to the DC input jack. My assumption is this thing took a hard knock. As you can see, there's some adhesive beneath the SMD components.

Had one of the Tech 21 Geddy Lee pedals in today. No power so seemed like the power supply protection diode might be the problem. It was. SMD construction is pretty much a deal breaker for me but I was able to solder in an old school 1N4148 diode...as God intended. 🤣
