Yes, & besides failing to uphold basic standards for course work creates a morale problem You can't easily solve. Your more serious students become disaffected w/ the course bc students always know when fellow students are BSing their way through it. Cheaters demoralize the most serious students.

Yes. It's funny how Republicans play these games and get away with it and Democrats never think about equivalent games they could play to *increase* trust in election counting, like saving GOP leaning votes to count until the end would. bsky.app/profile/smin...
PA does that only bc Republicans in the legislature mandated it; it was transparently clear at the time that they wanted to create public distrust in election counts in order to push Trump's agenda. Democrats warned that it would drag elections out unduly, but PA MAGA insisted on imposing it.

Yes. I think the anti-authority and anti-hierarchy instincts of many leftist kids makes them suspicious of centralizing communications but the alternative is always gonna be "the press highlights the absolute dumbest guy they can find (or a saboteur) instead" bsky.app/profile/smin...
Agreed. As to point 7, another reason it's crucial to run a media operation & make public contact info is that way too often w/ left-wing causes there will be grandstanding self promoters who show up just to appoint themselves the public face of it. Media fall for it. I've dealt w/ such fraudsters.
