It's actually incredible that SNESs are still running today. The youngest consoles are 26 years old!
This is crazy interesting: Super Nintendos are getting *faster* as the hardware ages. We spoke to the person who discovered this and has been collecting more data. They even put a SNES in the freezer to test a hypothesis

This is the way. Calling the systems “Ness” and “sness” is terrible, and I don’t care who tries to argue that it’s technically correct.
It's either S-N-E-S, each letter pronounced, or Super N-E-S, or Super Nintendo.
Super Famicom is also acceptable; I try to use it on my podcast to indicate games that did not get a release outside of Japan.
