It is the moment or the day when the sun reaches the celestial longitude of 90° and the daytime is the longest in a year. At this time, the sun rises to its highest position of the year. In the mainland Japan, it is usually rainy season and there are few opportunities to see the sun in high position, but sometimes strong sunshine can be seen. In my neighborhood today, it was rainy in the morning. But sunshine was able to be seen in the afternoon. Today's sunshine was certainly strong and hot.
