the last VNs i played were sonanyl of the violet shadows and toshoshitsu no neversista. this is an otome game. confession: i have never finished an otome game before. sonanyl is probably the closest, but that one is uh. interesting! i have many caveats if you are looking to me to recommend it.

#keykplays_eveniftempest considering the tarot card motif (major arcana only i'd assume) in the save screen hasn't changed though, i'm definitely still super early in this story. i'm not the target audience for otome games, but neither was i the target audience for sonanyl and i enjoyed it anyway.

#keykplays_eveniftempest a good story is a good story. sonanyl had tbh pretty vanilla sex scenes but they were also weird so i was kind of raising an eyebrow at them (and...well, there's some gameplay during them, kinda) and laughing. i'll probably be the same here for romance scenes and that's ok.

#hunteroc2 That's the same cuts the Sonanyl VN uses... I mean Guda reaches out to a flame within the shadow, it turns into a name to a familiar wielder, Taira no Kegekiyo. An avenging flame meant to burn the Genji.
