been looking into it; i think i am gonna explore FMOD for production and maybe sonity for my pitch proto/slice. i've got a tight runway and the spinup time here seems much smaller than FMOD's. if that's not your case, though, probably best to just jump to FMOD

neither had i. it's a middleware layer that sits over the unity audio system and exposes it. seems like it's got less turn-and-burn time than FMOD which may benefit me considering my team size (likely 2 heads)
