Like Superheavy only ever had ONE hit which was Soulpiercer to 1. That hit didn't kill the deck outright but it made it less consistent to the point where it's playrate dropped enough for people to play the newer decks. Same with the Yubel hits a few months ago. Those semi limits matter.

It searches a shs monster when it's sent from field to grave and can equip itself from hand to any shs monster, the search also isn't once per turn and they have a link 1 so soulpiercer is like, a good card.
But the thing is the deck still has a lot of starters and it's power is still the same

Scarecrow is an easy bring back as long as you also put soulpiercer to 1. If soulpiercer is at 3 and any number of scarecrow is legal, superheavy can do all kinds of wildly unfair plays
