#Texas has around 600,000 #SouthAsians, with greater #Houston alone having over 300,000, so this will go well (we have had multiple Indian American neighbors and friends of my parents say they are moving to Texas and I always look at them like they have 3 heads)

I'd also never heard the term "oreo" in reference t' Black people.
The only one I knew is "banana", cuz since I'm of #MixedRace, full-blooded Asians have used it against me.

Yeah maybe you need a certain number of #SouthAsians in your workplace or student body (and Michigan has a ton) for this to be relevant.
But trust me there are a lot of #SouthAsian students in #OhioState too, especially in #engineering.

I'm surprised that people are surprised. Yes, Black men and women are much higher risk of early #cardiovascular disease than white people (though #SouthAsians are higher risk than any other ethnicity)

Sorry to hear, and glad your mom got the treatment she needs. Something I am always vigilant about both because #SouthAsians are notorious to get early #heartattacks and there's a lot of #cardiovascular history in my family.

I mean the situation in #Canada vis a vis #SouthAsians isn’t great either but it’s definitely better than the UK, and from what I saw in Canada #Quebec is very welcoming of everyone no matter what your skin color is as long as you speak French.

As a person who is of South Asian descent, it's disheartening to see a whole lot of people of the same ancestry becoming part of the extremists in the DJT administration. People like Vivek Ramaswamy, Tulsi Gabbard, Kash Patel etc... #SouthAsians
