related to recent hollering about la cinématographie, this long shot from #southernarchives owes money to david lynch and is possibly therefore my favorite shot in the entire drama

hey tomb bunnies, don't forget there's about 20 chapters of an (untranslated) #southernarchives manhua, if you ever feel like seeing more of zhang hailou being unstoppably chaotic—it doesn't follow the plot of either drama or novel (xiaoge's in it) but it does exist! #dmbj

ahhh, just finished #ArchivesTheNanyangMystery🥹😍 what a fun, gay show! an imperfectly perfect part of the #DMBJ universe - has everything you'd expect (meteors!!) and then some. also, the way they set things up at the end, they could viably have another season #SouthernArchives

So #SouthernArchives has eaten my brain. Have a painting. 'Better Days' Watercolor on water color paper.
a watercolor painting almost entirely in a moody gray blue. There are two figures looking out over the ocean, one is carrying their coat over their arm, the other has his hands tucked into his pockets. There is a touch of green on the rocky shore they're standing on.

Finished watching #SouthernArchives for the second time today. Been doing daily group watches since it started airing. I'm sad it's over, but glad to have my evenings back xd

I liked it more than I wanted to. It was so close to being a really good show.

It’s here! I finished my little canon divergence #archivesthenanyangmystery fic. It diverges soon after Zhang Haixia is revived.

Comments, kudos, and shares are extremely appreciated!! #southernarchives

An official still of Zhang Haixia played By Ding Yuxi. He is in a black vest and white button up shirt. He sits in his wooden wheelchair, tending to a plant with a thoughtful expression. Text is ‘to build a home. An Archives: The Nanyang Mystery oneshot by Haro.’ to build a home | rating: t | tags: alternate universe- canon divergence, romance, character study, established relationship, canon disabled character, internalized ableism, period-typical ableism, happy ending, zhang haixia deserves the world Home wasn't Xiacheng, and it wasn't anywhere in Nanyang. It wasn't this wonderful house, modified to suit his needs, either. It was the owner of the pair of arms around his center, long and lean, warm against his bare skin. Or, Zhang Haixia builds a life. [Canon divergence after Haixia's revival]
