A solid lake effect snow band is impacting NW IN, with 1"+/hr rates in Lake/Porter counties. @INDOTNorthwest cams show the snow along I-94 and US-30. Travel will be tough tonight & Saturday. If traveling to/from Chicago Saturday, @southshoreline may be the better option for ya.

FYI -- my partners at @southshoreline have you COVERED if you want to celebrate and not worry about driving. From South Bend, you can take train #508 (departs 1:14p EST from SB Airport), arriving at 2:20pm CT. Train #513 (departs 9:25p CT) and train #515 (departs 10:25p CT), they go to SB.
