As it's my #birthday please also accept this gift of some free codes for my previous album "living past midnight".
It's kind of apt too, considering the date. It's time our governments acted in the interest of peace.

I don't really celebrate much but I'm hoping to go out for a meal later. Will you buy me a side dish? Or a pint?

Can Star Wars fans genuinely go f**k themselves for once in their whole miserable lives?
Using a tragedy to further spread slander and hate against an artist like George Lucas. Absolutely pathetic, on par with DC fans mocking Autumn Snyder's death.

Why Choose Golang with AWS? A Backend Engineer’s Perspective
Why choose Go with AWS? Go and AWS form a powerful combination for building cloud-native backend systems. In this article, we explore where Go fits in the AWS ecosystem—from high-concurrency APIs and containerized workloads to Lambda, AWS SDK integrations, background workers, and AI-powered applications—and where other languages may be a better choice.

Fascinating topic! Our Sp24 issue had a great article by sociologists Meggan M. Jordan and Jennifer Whitmer on why people buy into conspiracy theories -- unfortunately, it's paywalled through May, but we'll share some here!

I Got $200 in AWS Credits. Here’s How I Almost Wasted Them.
A personal lesson from using AWS credits as a student: the small resources and practice projects you forget about can quietly consume your credits. Here are the mistakes I made and the simple habit I'm using to avoid repeating them.

Blake Snell came in 91 overall (SP26) in my Rotoworld Top 500 dynasty rankings prior to signing with the Dodgers. That's SP24 for re-draft purposes. I'd be willing to make the case for him as high as SP15 (re-draft) and SP20 (dynasty) following the move to Los Angeles.
MLB free agent tracker is updated to reflect Blake Snell's reported agreement with the Dodgers:

All we have is talk from unnamed sources but if the figures are even remotely close the WB deal signed recently is more than enough to prove ol' SP24 here wrong
