(Theoretically, non magical medication might be able to treat Athamatics' emotional overdrive? It's not in play yet, but given the Aetheri are now spacefairing and have met high tech civilizations, it'd be on the table if they were open about the problem)

The important thing to note is that a big thing fuelling the war was the communications barrier. Roseikoh assumed any spacefairing race would have radio comms and be able to answer hails. The Aetheri were used to the Empyrean, and couldn't fathom the idea of not speaking through it.

A thought: since The Earth sits in the Goldilocks zone that's just perfect for supporting life, if ever - in the future - we run across spacefairing aliens, would they have similar zones for them?

What is with comic books that have a larger galactic community that earth is unaware of/not a part of because they aren't technologically advanced enough to be a spacefairing species.

1. Yes. A greater than zero portion of the audience are that dumb.

I was assuming that all nations with spacefairing capability had agreed upon a common docking ring design for the possibility of foreign rescue. I could be wrong.

It was largely isolated with no permanent spacefairing races living there, by diverse i meant biologically diversity and more than one biome unlike most planets in the galaxy far far away
