What is there to possibly say about Captain Hock Corven (kikan, he/him)? Skipper of the Wadja, notorious pirate, boisterous floating pufferfish with a personality larger than his already-considerable ego.

In this day and age, “hired muscle” is usually metaphorical; you’re hiring somebody who can use weapons. In the case of Zeyn (jendeer, he/him), it’s literal.

Happy #AsexualAwarenessWeek to my fellow aces!
🖤🩶🤍💜
I've made quite a few ace ocs! Rigel in particular is very special to me. Writing his story helped me to figure out that I was ace 💜

Alabaster Shrike boarding crew report:

When it comes to firearms talent, very few can match that of Zipzi (thurffe, he/him). A crack shot with almost any gun, he’s a nightmare at the firing range, and a different sort of nightmare in most other situations.

Y'know, I'm enjoying writing up these character bios so, so much. I kinda want to compile them in a physical reward for backers, including some of the more spoilery ones that aren't on to Bluesky.

Alas, that'd be a stretch goal, maybe insert it at $12k or something... #MeetTheCrew #spacepirates

We've bounced off 65% a couple times as people adjust their pledges. Can you get us fully past the 2/3 mark?

It's a rough time to be a creative (I had a big ol' private Facebook post about it) but I am so humbled and honored by the support for my book! #spacepirates #selfpublish
