It's very hot today! This is an image in the #CharlesWoolf Slide Collection from the 1976 drought, a historically hot and dry summer.

Woolf took many photos of the effects of the drought in Cornwall, including this one from the A38 near Wadebridge.

We have a wonderful collection of Cornish books, suitable for both fluent speakers and those who want to learn the language! They can be found as part of our Celtic Collection, in the South Basement and the Basement Reading Area 🎉
