It felt like Bohn and the Foretell Support Cards (his new band) was more auxiliary than anything, so I pivoted to a more Magecraft/Spellslinger deck with a ton of huge flashy spells. It kept the performance flavor I wanted while still being viable in my playgroup.

i think it is like. a much worse than think twice, dreams of laguna and so on. but especially if you're doing lower power level spellslinger stuff. It's a fine roleplayer.

Didn't pull the Stingerquill Sphinx, but I got the Jace, Reality Sculptor, a couple Way of the Pyromancer, and a Winter, Team Player so guess I'm running Izzet spellslinger/aggro.

Not really a story, but I just wanted to say that while I was uncertain about this set from the previews, the actual limited was a blast! I built a R/U spellslinger deck with the red ajani and empower jace as a top end and the deck put in work. Every deck I went up against were also neat. Great set.

After pulling Codie yesterday, I had to make a list but not any list. A 100% strixhaven x hexhaven deck. Every card is printed in RF, a strixhaven set, or in supplemental product from those sets. The result is a crazy creature heavy spellslinger deck with access to 25+ prepared spells #MTGAmbassador
In general I agree. Also why my favorite white board answer is Hour of Revelation. But I do feel guilty on some of the big spells type spellslinger. Because in general I'm trying not to shape my board/pods so my opponents require counterspells.

Hero talents also modified classes even further, you can turn an Arcane mage into basically a magic Gatling Gun if you spec spellslinger.
